4. Sophomores and Juniors should take the PSAT in the Fall. Juniors should begin preparing for the SAT early. Free practice is available on the College Board website. Juniors should register for the SAT in the Spring. If you missed this opportunity, Seniors should take the SAT no later than the October test date.
5. Sophomores and Juniors should attend College Fairs and Open House visits. Open House information is posted on this website under "Open House Info."

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors- Prepare a draft of your College List ( including Safety, Likely, and Reach schools. ) Request informational materials from the schools that you are interested in, visit their websites and get on their mailing lists., Do you fit their criteria for admissions? Always have long term goals and create a realistic plan.
7. Seniors: October - December-- Check deadlines for college applications. Create a timeline to get things done (Resume, Letters of Recommendation, College Essay, completion of Common App. )
8. Seniors: January-- File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ). Refer to the Financial Aid Tab of this website for more details.
9. Seniors: March- June Scholarship searches! Check the website under the "Scholarship 411" Do you fit the criteria? Don't miss an opportunity to get $ for college. Apply by the deadlines.
- 4 years of college preparatory English,
- 4 years of Math ( preferably Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus and Calculus if possible),
- 3 years of college preparatory Science ( Lab Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics )
- 3 years of college preparatory Social Studies
- 2 years of the same Foreign Language
